EAF (Electric Arc Furnace) :
Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) is a furnace that heats charged material by means of an electric arc. EAF Range in size from small units of approximately one ton capacity(Used in foundries for producing cast iron products) up to about 400 ton units used for secondary Steelmaking. EAF Temperatures can be up to 1,800 degrees Celsius. EAF Can get better Steel than Induction furnace. The Steel from EAF has less of sulphur & phosphorus. Then its mechanical property will be good. Casting quality mainly cast gray iron, Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Malleable Iron & Aluminium alloy.
LRF (Ladle Refining Furnace) :
Ladle refining of liquid metal is a proven technology to produce high quality steel. A Ladle Refining Furnace is used to raise the temperature and adjust the chemical composition of molten metal.
FES (Fume Extraction System) :
Fume extractor is a system utilizing a fan to pull fumes and particulate into a filtration system cleaning the air of harmful chemicals and particulates. Industrial processes create fumes or
particles such as welding, sanding, grinding, spraying, powder filling, and chemical applications.
CCM (Continuous Casting Machine) :
Continuous casting, also called strand casting, is the process whereby molten metal is solidified into a “semi finished” billet, bloom, or slab for subsequent rolling in the finishing mills.
Auto Hot Billet Shearer :
Auto Hot Billet Shearer (AHBS) is introduced inside the Caster on the cutting zone to shear hot billets automatically as per desired length. AHBS replaces manual cutting and it does not required any cutting torch & oxy-acetylene gas. Since it is a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based shearing process so there is no burning loss and no wastage of metal. Auto cutting lengths with minimum error minimize end cutting length in the Rolling Mill.
