EAF (Electric Arc Furnace) :

Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) is a furnace that heats charged material by means of an electric arc. EAF Range in size from small units of approximately one ton capacity(Used in foundries for producing cast iron products) up to about 400 ton units used for secondary Steelmaking. EAF Temperatures can be up to 1,800 degrees Celsius. EAF Can get better Steel than Induction furnace. The Steel from EAF has less of sulphur & phosphorus. Then its mechanical property will be good. Casting quality mainly cast gray iron, Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Malleable Iron & Aluminium alloy.
